Me in IT Consultancy was founded in 2007 and is based in The Netherlands. It is focused to UNIX and Linux related consultancy. Robert de Bock is the founder of Me in IT Consultancy. Robert likes UNIX, Linux, *BSD, Mac OS X and related topics.

The name "Me in IT consultancy" was selected because of these characteristics:

1. It is focused to an individual, this is important to Me in IT Consultancy.
2. The words "in IT" form "init", a basic process for both UNIX and Linux.
3. The word "IT" is an abbriviation for Information Technology, but can also be used as "it", the pronoun.

One thing to mention; "meinit" should not be pronounced as (German) "mein it", translated as "IT that is owned by me." It should be pronounced as "Me in I.T. consultancy" which means the person "I" working in Information Technology.
