About pages, stories and images

So, you are sort of set now. Let's now think about the content of your website and how to set it up.

Drupal provides "Pages", "Stories" and "Images". Images is only available when you use the Image moduel. The difference between pages and stories is hard to tell, but in general, you could divide it like this:

  • Pages are "static" pieces of content, like an "about" page. A page is not a piece of content you would add daily.
  • Stories are pieces of content that have a more temporarily character. A blog for example would add stories daily or weekly. A story is for example not where you would place your "support" or "products" content in.

In both a story and a page you can use images, links, video and many other media.

To setup the navigation of a website you would typically use pages.
